The Global Talent Stream opens door to certain skilled workers to get a work permit in just 2 weeks of applying. It is one of the key elements of Canada’s Global Skills Plan, which have a special focus to help innovative companies grow by ensuring that they can access global talent quickly.
Skilled workers will get their Canada work permits and visa application processed in two weeks as part of the new Global Stream under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program.
The Federal Government of Canada is trying to help high-growth companies bring the talent they need as quickly as possible by slashing the time frame from six months to just 10 business days.
As per the federal government press release; “This will result in timely, responsive, and predictable service that enables companies to attract top talent to scale up, create good middle-class jobs at home and remain globally competitive”
